March 7, 2007 World Class Rotax Driver to Join Italkart
Italkart announced today that Scott Campbell will join Italkart and compete in the Rotax categories. Scott will be piloting his new Italkart in the Rotax International class and will also be driving the new DD2 Italkart in the Western Canadian Rotax Series and at the 2007 ASN Canadian Nationals in Hamilton. Hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, Campbell is at the top level of karting around the world. He has been a regular to the Rotax World Finals where he has represented Canada three times in 2003, 2004 & 2006. In 2004 at the World Finals in the Canary Islands Campbell achieved a first for a Canadian by qualifying 3rd, then starting on pole in a heat race and then leading a karting World Championships. This past year at the Rotax World Finals Scott dug deep and persevered through the tough times by pushing to the front and finishing an amazing 7th place. “I am looking forward to racing the Italkarts” said Campbell “Italkart has been around a long time and are always at the front and I intend to keep the 2007 Italkarts there” Italkart recently clinched the Florida Winter Tour Championship in Pro ICC and ICC Masters sweeping the weekend with a total of four victories in Ocala, Florida. The 2007 Rotax season starts off at CARTBC on May 19-20. |
